“… for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.”
~ Isaiah 56:7 (KJV).
In addition to the weekly prayer meeting and Bible study on Tuesday evenings, North River has established a Sunday morning telephone prayer line, known as the Upper Room, open to all interested members and others who wish to join in, to offer praises to God and to present our intercessory prayers and requests before the throne of grace. In urgent situations, members may also be invited to call in to the Upper Room at specified times for prayer sessions on behalf of an individual or family in an emergency.
A dedicated Prayer Room has also been established, where members convene after the fellowship lunch following Sabbath services, to pray over all specific requests made through the week and during the services.
How long has it been since you had a talk with the Lord? A simple, heartfelt prayer can unleash a chain of wonderful events in your life that will thrill and amaze you. You may be in the midst of terrible trials right now, and from a human perspective you may feel it is impossible for things to change. But, nothing is impossible with God, said Jesus. Why not pray to Him today, right now.
Consider making prayer the most important priority in your life.
